We’re looking for a Head of Growth to lead our go-to-market efforts. If you’re excited about developer tools, open source, and rolling up your sleeves to drive meaningful growth, this role is for you.
 
Your mission
You’ll be responsible for owning and executing all aspects of Semaphore’s growth and go-to-market strategy. That means turning product milestones into market momentum – whether it’s a new feature launch, community push, or partnership opportunity – and collaborating with our lean but capable team to make it happen.
 
What you’ll do
  • Own existing and develop new revenue channels and monetization strategies
  • Develop and execute campaigns that drive user acquisition, activation, and retention
  • Translate product milestones into impactful launch plans (e.g., new features, open source releases)
  • Own our open-source growth loop, from GitHub stars to community engagement and content
  • Build and manage co-marketing and integration partnerships
  • Identify and pursue distribution opportunities across developer marketplaces and ecosystems
  • Lead positioning and messaging for product and marketing initiatives
  • Manage or collaborate with writers, designers, and freelancers to produce content and assets
  • Measure performance and continuously iterate to improve KPIs
What we’re looking for
  • Proven experience driving go-to-market execution at a devtools, B2B SaaS, or open source company
  • Strong operator with the ability to turn strategy into action and deliver results
  • Understanding of software developers and modern software delivery
  • Hands-on experience with product launches, content, partnerships, and growth channels
  • Resourceful, self-managed, and comfortable working in a lean, async environment
  • Strong communicator and collaborator across functions
  • Bonus: experience growing open source projects or developer communities
