Job Description
Breakthrough Design Group is looking for a Web Developer / Designer to work on a contract basis (15-25 hours/week) with potential for full-time hire. Your primary responsibilities will be: Converting web designs to highly usable HTML/CSS/JS/WordPress pages, and if you desire, creating and updating design layouts. You will be building enterprise websites, web software applications, emails, and other web/mobile applications. You will also help with Search Engine Optimization upgrades and WordPress theme development.
Requirements:
- Experience with Photoshop, Figma, Sketch
- Fluency in HTML, CSS
- Experience w/ JavaScript, jQuery
- Experience working w/ Mobile & Responsive Design
- Experience w/ WordPress
- Currently active sites
- Experience in cross-browser compatibility in Edge, Safari, Chrome, Firefox.
- Ability to work with web developers in integrating design and functionality.
Pluses:
- Formal education in (or love for) art or design
- Experience working with CSS libraries
- Love for Typography
- Knowledge of SEO (Search Engine Optimization) techniques, and effects on traffic
- Experience w/ WooCommerce, PHP & MySQL
- Gmail / Google Apps user
- Experience w/ Google Analytics
- iPhone, iPad, or Droid owner
